Chief Executive Officer

Terry started the Gottman Electric Company, now GOTTCO, in 1978. He began his career as an electrician at Swanson-Nunn before starting his own venture. When he started Gottman Electric, the main focus was on industrial, agricultural, and petroleum electrical servicing. Terry has since grown our company, expanding into metal fabrication in the early 2000’s and taking on hundreds of unique specialty projects. Terry is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School, Class of 1973. His experience and relationships guide our company forward.

Chief Financial Officer

Forrest started at GOTTCO in May of 2020. He is Terry’s son and has helped develop GOTTCO into the strong presence it is today through excellence in the company’s finance, operations, lean processes, and culture. Forrest graduated summa cum laude from the University of Evansville in 2020 with his B.S. in Business Administration and majored in Finance. Forrest also received his Financial Coach Master Training Certificate in 2021. Before that, he graduated from Mount Vernon High School, Class of 2017.

Electrical Apprentice

Zhongshen started at GOTTCO in July of 2021. He is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College where he received his A.A.S. with certificates in Electrical. Zhongshen is a team member on our electrical and metal fabrication teams.
